The institute of Plant Physiology is located just in front of the main entrance of the Botanical Museum and Botanic Garden of Berlin (BGBM) in the southwest of Berlin (local train station "Botanischer Garten" or "Lichterfelde West" in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf borough of Berlin, see the Google Map).

A) Traveling by plane:

BER Airport is well connected to the rail and to the road networks. Indeed, Airport Express (FEX) and regional trains (RB & RE) run together four times an hour from the airport train station to the Berlin central train station ("Berlin Hauptbahnhof" in German). In addition, the local trains ("S-Bahn") S9 and S45 run from the train station "Flughafen BER" to the Berlin city centre, as well as different bus lines.
