Glycosylation is a common and highly diverse type of protein modification essential to the development and physiology of all living organisms. This teaching workshop is aimed at young scientists (PhD and postdocs) who would like to gain an insight into an exciting and promising field of research. Leading scientists from different fields of glycobiology will provide an overview of the current understanding of the major glycosylation pathways in eukaryotes and discuss the molecular mechanism by which glycosylation controls physiology and contributes to disease.
Registration is free of charge, but mandatory
