Teaching Workshop on Glycosylation in Health and Disease

Jul 3, 2023

International Academic Forum Heidelberg
Heidelberg, Germany

General Description
Full day workshop from 8:50 am to 5:00 pm

Glycosylation is a frequent and very diverse modification of proteins and lipids. Its great importance for the development and physiology of all living organisms is increasingly recognized.
This teaching workshop is aimed at young scientists (PhD and postdocs) who would like to gain an insight into an exciting and promising field of research. Leading scientists from different fields of glycobiology will provide an overview of the current understanding of the major glycosylation pathways in eukaryotes and discuss the molecular mechanism by which glycosylation controls physiology and contributes to disease.

Registration is free of charge, but mandatory

Participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis
